AI phone agent

Missed calls cost customers, and staffing a phone line costs a salary. A voice agent answers every call, understands the request, takes the useful details, books an appointment where it can, and sends you a written summary. Anything beyond its remit goes to a human.

What a voice agent actually does

It does not replace your team: it absorbs the repetitive calls that stop them working. Opening hours, availability, booking, simple orders, qualifying an enquiry before transferring it.

  • Answers on the first ring, including evenings, weekends and your busiest hours
  • Qualifies the call against your criteria and routes it to the right person
  • Books appointments straight into your calendar
  • Sends a written summary of every call, with the number and what was said
  • Hands over to a human as soon as the request falls outside its scope

Task agents, the same idea off the phone

The same approach applies to repetitive administrative work: reading documents and invoices, updating the CRM, sorting and drafting email, moving data between two systems that do not talk to each other. Those are hours recovered every week, on work nobody enjoys.

How we do it, and where we push back

We build the agent around your actual procedures rather than a generic script, and connect it to the tools you already use: calendar, CRM, mailbox. We always start with a narrow scope, put it into production, measure it, then widen.

An honest reservation: a voice agent does not suit every business. If your calls are mostly complex, emotional or legally sensitive, the poor customer experience will cost more than the time saved. We will tell you that on the first call rather than after the invoice.

Questions fréquentes

Will my customers realise they are talking to a machine?

Many will, which is exactly why we state clearly at the start of the call what they are speaking to. The experience lands far better than voicemail or a long hold, provided the handover to a human is quick whenever someone asks for it.

Which languages does it handle?

English, French, German and Italian, switching automatically based on the caller. That is a genuine advantage in Switzerland, where staffing a multilingual phone line is expensive to maintain.

Where does the call data go?

We settle that before building: hosting, retention period, and who can reach the recordings and transcripts. Those choices belong in the scoping stage and go into the contract, rather than being decided afterwards.

How narrow should we start?

Narrower than feels satisfying. One clear job, such as taking bookings, put live and measured against real calls. The early weeks exist to correct what nobody anticipated, and that is much easier when the agent only has one thing to get right.
